Strandhotel opens in August 2018, with interior designs of Piet Boon. In fact, the prestigious Studio Piet Boon, based in Amsterdam, managed to create a tailor-made and unique interior design able to grasp the inner essence of Strandhotel. Their concept approach blends exterior, interior and styling with each project context, culture and environment. At the entrance and in the lobby various ceramic accompany the guest while checking in and breathing the welcoming atmosphere. There, iconic and solid ML and MLS are displayed with apparent randomness and convey a sense of concreteness while enriching the minimalist and cozy design with bold volumes and contrasting tints. The equally huge textured AHSB and the cork-colored AUS placed at the entrance recall the trunks of century-old trees that can be found in the nature surrounding the hotel and stand out as iconic sculptures in all their individuality.
